Arteche has supplied instrument transformers for high voltage direct current connection between the provinces of Labrador and Nova Scotia passing crossing the Island of Newfoundland, in eastern Canada.
The project, the construction of which started in 2014 and that will start to operate in 2017, will allow distributing green energy from the Muskrat dam, in Labrador, to continental Canada, for the province of Nova Scotia to meet federal legislation on greenhouse gas emissions.
