Arteche has wide experience in the Medium Voltage distribution grid automation, with thousands of reclosers installed worldwide. These contribute to improving the quality of the electricity supply in distribution networks around the world.
Our expert, Aurelio Gámez will present the knowledge we have acquired about Reclosers and their design, which combines strength and total reliability with the features required by the applications of Smart Electrical Networks, during the celebration of Electricón, a meeting point for professionals and authorities from the electricity construction sector for more than 18 years, which will be held in Guadalajara from 31 October to 2 November.
The restoration systems are three-phase switchgear units which permit the control and protection functions to be performed in electrical distribution networks. They detect defects in the network, locate them and isolate the damaged sections in the selectivity and speed conditions defined for each network. In addition, they permit the automatic reclosure when the fault is transitory, minimising its impact on users and significantly improving the quality indices of the service.
Additionally, we know that the impact of bad energy is significant from the economic point of view: penalties are applied for low power factors and increased apparent power consumption which, in the end, increase the electricity bill. Our Power Quality experts will be available at stand A-06 to answer your questions.
