Combined LPVT and BPL coupler PLUGCOM
Plugcom combines a Low Power Voltage Transformer and a PLC / BPL capacitive coupler in a single device, enabling both voltage measurement and BPL / PLC signal injection on Medium Voltage feeders.
Those devices are intended for applications where there is not access to live parts and it is not possible to install an independent coupler, like Ring Main Units, distribution switchpanels and other medium voltage underground distribution equipment, usually connected by means of insulated cables.
