Located in the Arteche Group facilities in Mungía (Spain), the LUAT per its initials in Spanish (Ultra High Voltage Laboratory) is the largest High Voltage laboratory in Spain, and one of the largest in Europe, keeping ARTECHE at the forefront of innovation and technological development in the electricity sector.

These facilities are an indispensable tool for our R&D team to validate new developments and innovative designs for the challenges of the changing electrical industry.

We are accredited for instrument transformer testing under ENAC/ILAC ISO/IEC 17025, and, thanks to our facilities’ dimensions and versatility, we can also test a wide range of electrical equipment.

Electrical equipment manufacturers and users can use these extensive capabilities to validate their equipment, whether under IEC, ANSI, IEEE, or other particular standards. We place the laboratory for the execution of dielectric, impulse and switching tests, partial discharge measurements, etc., all at your disposal.

All this, under an efficient management system, which accumulates experience, guarantees the independence of the activity and ensures the confidentiality of the results, using the most innovative technological means on the market.
