Power Quality for renewable energy grid connection - Webinar

Arteche Group is organizing a series of free webinars on Power Quality for Renewable Energy Grid Connection and grid code compliance. Book your seat here.

Phenomena associated with power quality are growing as the introduction of renewable energy sources increases, affecting the stability of the electricity grid and compromising security of supply.

Due to an asynchronous, variable and changing behavior, the integration of renewable energies into the grid is facing challenges related to power quality.

Power quality phenomena such as flicker, the ability to continue to operate in fault conditions, voltage drops or surges, the ability to continue to operate in the event of low voltage ride through (LVRT) and high voltage ride through (HVRT), harmonic resonance, phase imbalance or low power factor are some of the main concerns of power companies and regulators.

Hybrid Solutions cover the reactive power requirements specified in stringent grid codes that the generating units (wind generation and solar inverters) and the entire system are not capable of providing at the Point of Interconnection (POI).
