D&D Hardware Engineer

Position based in Las Rozas (Madrid), reporting to Global Electronic Equipment Product Engineering manager.

We are looking for someone with the following professional requirements:

Engineering and electronic master's degree, 6 years’ experience designing electronics.
Experience in multilayer and high-speed design.
Board design including schematic capture. PCB layout using any enterprise software (Altium preferred).
Experience in design power, analog and digital circuits.
Experience with general lab equipment.
Experience in full cycle product development & maintenance.
Ability to document requirements and specifications.
Experience in certification processes, according to the relevant standards or regulations (CE, EMC, Climatic security…).
FPGAs and microcontrollers knowledge.
Xilinx environment knowledge.
English: Professional Working Proficiency.

Functions

Maintain and execute the continuous improvement of quality standards throughout the working life of products. Carry out improvements to quality, functionality, reliability and manufacturability.
Component selection and definition based on system requirements.
Schematic capture and PCB Layout.
Maintenance and management of documentation of design, test procedures and manufacturing instructions to hand over design for production team (Gerbers, BOMs, Schema..).
Maintenance components library.
Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting repairs and malfunctions.
Develop knowledge of current products and areas of technical know-how.
Provide technical support to other team members form Arteche, suppliers and end clients.
Lead/participate in the projects or tasks
