Transformadores de corriente ópticos para HVDC

HVDC links are becoming more and more frequent, largely due to the growth of renewable energies in offshore parks. Arteche's optical transformers are a perfect solution for these DC applications. Their operating principle (Faraday effect) and their design topology (3x3 interferometer) allow them to measure without loss of accuracy over an extended range of currents and frequencies.

Their modular design offers maximum flexibility when integrating them into the substation layout, allowing to optimize the substation footprint and equipment management (same specification for all positions).

The associated electronic equipment (MU) can be located hundreds of meters away from the transformer without losing measurement quality. The system has been designed for easy installation and commissioning to reduce the always critical project times.

The digital interface according to IEC 61869-9 standard (F96000S1I3U0) facilitates its integration with the latest generation of control systems, without losing the possibility of using analog interfaces (up to 4 outputs with configurable ratio and ±10V range per transformer) that allow its integration with control systems already installed.
