For this reason, we present our 2020 Sustainability Report, in which we detail all the actions and initiatives we carried out during the year, with a particular commitment to the areas of people, society and the planet.
Sustainability, ethics and transparency are fundamental values in our philosophy.
In the last year, we implemented 5 Sustainability Plans and a total of 65 actions related to the 6 Sustainable Development Goals on which we focus our efforts: quality education; gender equality; decent work and economic growth; industry, innovation and infrastructure; sustainable cities and communities; and responsible production and consumption.
In a context full of challenges and opportunities, in which society and companies are moving forward hand in hand, at Arteche we have decided to go one step further and provide value and wealth not only to our clients, but to society as a whole.
Commitment to the Planet
Therefore, some of the achievements in environmental matters were the reduction of water consumption by 32 %, of natural gas consumption by 10 %, of gasoline and diesel consumption by almost 50 %, and of waste generation by 55 %. In addition, there were no environmental incidents, and recycled waste increased 15%.

And our sustainability strategy, which originates in the very core of our purpose and is aligned with our mission and values, guides each and every one of our actions throughout the Group.
